Food Handlers Classes

Food Handlers Classes are for those working with foods and food service.  The Health Department requires all food service workers to have a current food handlers card, issued by the Health Department.

Person in Charge Trainings provide information necessary for all designated PIC's as well as managers, owners and operators of resturaunts an other facilities within Marshall Coounty.  This training will cover the 2013 FDA Food Code.  Food service facilities are required to have a Person In Chage (PIC) at all times the establishment is open. If unable to show proof of a current PIC or ServSafe Certificate, this a critical violation and a re-inspection fee of $100.00 will be assessed.
