ONLINE FOOD HANDLER CLASS

FEES:   A MARSHALL COUNTY CARD IS $20.00

              A STATE CARD IS $25.00

              THIS CLASS CAN BE TAKEN AT THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE:  www.statefoodsafety.com

The Marshall County Health Department has partnered with www.statefoodsafety.com to offer online food service workers classes for purchase.  Individuals, whose schedule does not allow them to attend in person classes should participate in this program as an alternative.

Click on Get Started Now

Choose Food Handlers Card

It will then ask you to select your location to begin: 

Click on your STATE

Then it will ask you what County, 

Click on your County

Then it will say Select a Course

You will choose from Accepted Countywide or Accepted Statewide (the cards are good for two years and then need renewed)

You will then use your credit card to pay for your class 

You get two attempts and you need to score 70% or higher to pass.

At the end of the class you print off your own card.  We do not have copies of the cards at the health department

 

If you are available to come to class at the Marshall County Health Department, the following are a list of dates that the classes are offered:

May 19, 2026  at 9:00am and 5:00pm

June 23, 2026 at 9:00am and 5:00pm

July 28, 2026 at 9:00am and 5:00pm

August 25, 2026 at 9:00am and 5:00pm

September 29, 2026 at 9:00am and 5:00pm

October 27, 2026 at 9:00 and 5:00pm

November 17, 2026 at 9:00am and 5:00pm

December 15, 2026 at 9:00am and 5:00pm
