We realize that the 2022-2023 school year has not ended yet.

However, it is time to plan for the 2023-2024 school year.

Marshall County Health Department in conjuction with the Marshall County Schools, nurses are planning two Back to School Vaccination Clinics to be sure your children have the vaccinations they need to start the 2023-2024 school year.

These vaccine clinics will be held on Friday, June 23rd, 2023 and Friday, August 18, 2023 from 9:00-11:00am and 1:00-3:00pm.

THIS CLINIC IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY BY CALLING 304-845-7840.

AND WILL BE FOR MARSALL COUNTY STUDENTS ONLY.

To make the vaccine clinic run as smoothly as possible please be prepared to bring the following items:

A copy of your shot record.

A copy of your drivers license.  If the student does not have a license, then the license of whoever is bringing the child.

A copy of your insurance card.

If you do not have insurance, you will be asked to provide the monthly income of each person who lives in the household. Please have cash or card available in the event you would owe something related to the amount of money made per the monthly income.

If someone other than a parent is bringing a student who is under 18 years old there MUST be a hand written note with the child's name, the child's birthdate and the name of the person brining the child and that person's birthdate.  This MUST be signed by the parent.

If you have been granted custody of a child then a copy of that paper work needs provided.

Please note these clinics are not the only times that vaccines are given at the Marshall County Health Department.  Vaccines are given Monday-Friday 9-11 and 1-3.  Please make your appointments so we can be sure to have enough vaccine on hand to accomadate your student.  DO NOT wait until school has started, because your child will not be permitted into school without their updated vaccinations, per state guidelines. We did run out of vaccine last year due to parents not making appointments in advance and that is out of our control.  So please schedule your appointments for vaccinations ASAP.  Thank you!
