The Marshall County Health Department will have free take home rapid tests to begin passing out on Monday, June 6, 2022. Kits can only be picked up between 9am and 10am, Monday through Friday. These tests will be available on a first come, first served basis.

DO NOT ENTER THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT if you are having any type of COVID 19 symptoms or have recently tested positive. If you meet the criteria listed and have any symptoms you would need to call into the Health Department and someone would bring out the test kit to you.

These tests are for those who DO NOT have insurance to cover the cost of these tests.

Private and state insurance will cover other means of testing such as being seen at an urgent care facility or purchasing rapid kits through a pharmacy and requesting reimbursement through the insurance provider, up to 8 kits per month.

Additionally, free tests can be ordered from the federal government at covidtests.gov.

All the test kits that are here have officially received a 12 month extension on their date of expiration.
