1 DEATH ASSOCIATED TO COVID-19, 16 NEW POSITIVE CASES AND 6 NEW PROBABLE
COVID-19 CASES IN MARSHALL COUNTY
Moundsville, WV – Marshall County Health Department has received confirmation of 1 death of a Marshall County resident associated to COVID-19. We received notification that we lost an 81-year-old male who was hospitalized at the time of his passing.
Our hearts are heavy with the loss of this Marshall County resident associated to COVID-19. The thoughts and prayers of the staff at the Health Department and all county offices are with the family and friends of this gentleman during this difficult time.
The Marshall County Health Department has also received confirmation of 16 new positive cases and 6 new probable cases. All cases were received between March 15 and 21, 2022.
Due to potential delays in reporting to all state level resources, the Marshall County Health Department recommends everyone to obtain current total numbers from the WVDHHR COVID 19 dashboard website, https://dhhr.wv.gov/COVID-19/Pages/default.aspx.
Walk in COVID 19 Vaccinations for first, second and booster doses of Pfizer and Moderna and aged 5 – 11 Pfizer vaccines are available at the Health Department Monday through Friday 9am – 11am and 1pm – 3pm.

Thursday, March 24 9:00am - 1:00pm
Monday, March 28 9:00am - 1:00pm
Mobile Testing
Friday, March 25 Cameron City Hall 11:00am – 5:00pm
Friday, April 1 Benwood City Hall 11:00am – 5:00pm
Unless cases numbers increase very quickly, these testing dates will be the last of our scheduled testing dates at the Health Department and the City Halls.
Free State PCR Testing also available at Moundsville Pharmacy Monday through Friday 9am – 5pm and Saturday 9:00am – 12:00pm.
